Widgets-
A widget is anything that can be embedded within a page of HTML, commonly known as a web page. Embeddable chunks of code have existed since the start of the World Wide Web. A widget adds some content to that page that is not static. Generally widgets are third party originated, though they can be home made. Widgets are also known as modules, snippets, and plug-ins. Widgets often take the form of on-screen tools such as clocks, event countdowns, auction-tickers, stock market tickers, flight arrival information, daily weather, and more   Widgets can be added to blogs, profile pages, basically any web page that allows HTML coding. There are basically three different categories of widgets:  Virtual Pet Widgets,  Widget Games,  and Widget Tools.


Virtual Pet Widgets:
Virtual Pet widgets are fun little computer pets.   These widgets make a fine addition to your home page, My Space page, blog, or other web pages that you want to add an interactive widget.  Check out our cute Kitty "Sen on the bottom corner of our web page!

Widget Games:
While you will probably only add video and game widgets to your blog or personal websites, You Tube videos are a great way to add an extra feature to your website. They can add music, comedy or a tutorial in an entertaining format, while only taking up a small amount of space. Floridian Nature has this video page to add content to the site.

Widget Tools: 
These widgets are useful. They may tell you the date or time. We have a weather widget, a unit converter widget, ways to add maps to your websites and other interesting widgets that also serve a purpose. These widgets are great to add to business websites, personal web pages, blogs and other spaces. Improve website traffic by adding a widget that is helpful to the visitors of your site. If your company is having a sale you may want to add a countdown widget. Check out  all the tool widgets to find the one that fits your site. This widget makes site visitors feel confident that all the information on your site is up to date. It has a clean look and feel to it and picks up on the font and color you are using on your web page. Another nice addition is a clock widget. It is used here to go with the hours of business and lets customers know what time code you are in. Above is a nice weather widget that can be changed to blend with your website design. Adding a Google map is also a nice addition to any business website. The Google map can be made to help clients find your place of business.
